SUPPORT TO CITIZENS LIFE IMPROVEMENT IN MUNICIPALITIES

State secretary in the Ministry for state government and local self government of the Government of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Radosavljevic, gave the Solutions on sharing-donating 1,45 million dinars to Palilula Municipality for the project `Transforming of wild depo locations into park surfaces` and Mediana Municipality 2,0 million dinars for the project `Reconstruction of business object for the forming of business service center`. The donations received in the name of Palilula Municipality PhD Igor Novakovic and in the name of Mediana Municipality head of administration - Novica Simic.

With this Solutions, which is in accordance with the Regulation and the draft decision the Commission to conduct proceedings and determine proposals for allocation of funds made by the Minister Milan Markovic, 53 units of local self government in Serbia that applied last year, got the stimuli resources for the realization of the projects in 6 different areas.

This is the third year in a row Palilula has been receiving funding from the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Government, as a stimulus to further development of the area. We will arrange with this resources that 15 illegal dump sites, unfortunately in our community. We have registered more than 30 illegal dumps, stressed the president of the municipality PhD Igor Novakovic.Thanks to our Project Centre rarely a call or proposal for project passes that our Municipality does not get any sources, and our Municipality is, just to mention here, one of the poorest in Serbia. Milan Djurdjevic, Palilula Assembly president and Zorica Stojiljkovic, member of Palilula Council, together with Bojan Ilic, head of administration were all present at this meeting.

In addition to the activities in the area to assist local governments in implementing environmental programs and local, and remedial action plans, projects and activities in the field of environmental protection, where was perceived the activity of Palilula, the Ministry has supported the projects of local governments, to participate in providing the missing part of the funds in full or partially, for the implementation of new or completion of the projects financed from the budget of local governments, which have special significance for the life of citizens in its territory. In this area, the project of Mediana Municipality has been also supported for the "reconstruction of office building to form a business service center."
